LG products are tested to ETL safety standards by Intertek, an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), which is also accredited as a Testing Organization and Certification Body by the Standards Council of Canada. (File code number 3091879).
 
LG products are developed and tested to ensure compliance with current and upcoming codes:
  • Material safety data sheets are available for refrigerants used in LG air-conditioning units
  • ANSI/AHRI Standard 1230 VRF certification testing will be performed through an ISO 17025-certified Intertek facility by July 2011
  • AHRI Standard 1270P seismic qualification testing
  • AHRI Standard 1310P-201X wind load design of HVACR equipment for expected release of the new standard in 2011/Q3
